So... whattaya do after youve put together a band from scratch, written great rock songs and (in less than 2 years) risen from the obscurity of the outer-ATL-burbs to playing MTV Spring Break, the 99X UpstartFest and securing a sponsorship from Budweiser True Music, only to see the band break up on the eve of signing a major-label deal?
Go to DisneyWorld? Um... no.
If you're guitar-hero, songwriter-extraordinaire Tommy Thompson, you regroup (literally)... and put together an even better band.
Yep... sometimes you just gotta start over. Because if it ain't right, then well... it ain't right.
Tommy-T knew what "it" was... and this time he wanted an even bigger, even fresher sound, and more importantly, guys who had "it", too.
And just watching the stunned looks from the other musicians in the room during their first-ever sound-check told ya all you needed to know: Bang!... there "it" is.
And then holy smokes!... that "arena sound" (theres really no other way to describe it... a sound that just jumps off the stage... and cmon, 3-part harmonies from an active-rock band?
A band whose 3rd show EVER is opening for Army of Anyone... are you kidding me?... and then absolutely drops everyones jaws in the packed venue while doing it.
Well, if the preliminary buzz was hot, the accolades that have followed are off the hook.
Regional supergroup?... maybe.
Super BAND?... damn straight.
